By using KartCal you agree to these terms. They are written to be readable rather than exhaustive.
What KartCal is
KartCal is a free calendar of kart racing events across the United States and Canada. We gather
schedule information from tracks, clubs and series, and present it in one place.
Schedules change — always confirm before you tow
This is the most important term on this page. We work hard to keep the calendar accurate, but
race schedules change constantly: events are postponed, rained out, moved, renumbered or cancelled,
sometimes at short notice, and sometimes without the track updating its own website.
Always confirm directly with the track, club or series before travelling to an event. KartCal
is a planning tool, not an authority. We are not responsible for travel, entry fees, accommodation
or any other cost or loss arising from a listing that turns out to be wrong, incomplete or out of
date.
The information here belongs to the events it describes
Event details — dates, names, venues — are facts about public events. Track names, logos and
trademarks belong to their owners. We display them to identify events, not to imply any
endorsement, sponsorship or affiliation.
If you own a track, club or series and want a listing corrected or removed, email
contact@kartcal.com and we will act on it.
Submitting information
If you submit a track, schedule, flyer or correction, you confirm you have the right to share it,
and you allow us to publish that information on KartCal. Everything submitted is reviewed by a
person before it goes live. We may edit, decline or remove submissions at our discretion.
Do not submit anything false, misleading or not yours to share.
Acceptable use
Do not use KartCal to break the law, to harass anyone, to scrape the site in a way that degrades it
for others, or to misrepresent the calendar as your own. Personal use of the calendar — including
exporting events to your own phone or calendar app — is exactly what it is for, and encouraged.
Advertising and sponsorship
Some slots on the site are advertising. Where a slot is sold, it is identified. House promotions
for KartCal's own features are not paid placements.
Paid features
Some features may become paid subscriptions in future. The core calendar — every event, every
track — is intended to remain free to browse.
No warranty
KartCal is provided "as is". We do not warrant that it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that
every listing is accurate. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any
indirect or consequential loss arising from your use of the site.
Changes
We may update these terms. The date at the top shows when they last changed.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Maryland, USA.
