KartCal is a calendar of kart racing events in the United States and Canada. It is run by Hunter
Banks Racing, Westminster, Maryland.
This policy describes exactly what we collect. It is short because we collect very little.
What we do not do
- We do not use cookies. The site sets no cookies and uses no browser storage.
- We do not track you across other websites. There are no advertising pixels, no Meta pixel,
- We do not sell, rent or share your information with anyone.
- We do not create accounts or profiles. There is currently no login.
no Google Analytics, no retargeting.
What we collect
Anonymous visit statistics. We use Cloudflare Web Analytics, which is cookie-free and does not
fingerprint or follow visitors between sites. It tells us things like how many people viewed the
calendar and which pages were popular. It does not tell us who you are.
Your email address, only if you give it to us. If you enter your address to be notified about
a feature, to advertise, or to submit a track, we store that address together with what you asked
about and the date. That is all we store.
Track and event submissions. If you submit a track, a schedule or a flyer, we keep what you
sent so we can review and publish it. Schedule information is public information about public
events.
What we do with your email address
We use it once, for the thing you asked for. We do not add you to a newsletter, and we do not send
unrelated messages. There is no mailing list.
Where it is stored
Email addresses are stored on our own server, not in the public storage that serves this website.
The site itself is served through Cloudflare.
How long we keep it
Until you ask us to delete it, or until the thing you asked about has happened and the address is
no longer needed.
Your choices
Email contact@kartcal.com at any time to see what we hold about you, correct it, or have it
deleted. We will action deletion requests promptly, and you do not need to give a reason.
Children
KartCal is a schedule of public events and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect
information from anyone under 13. Kart racing involves young drivers, and we deliberately publish
no personal detail about them — event listings name venues, clubs and series, not individual minors.
Third parties we rely on
- Cloudflare — hosting, content delivery and privacy-first analytics.
- Google Fonts — typefaces used by the site.
We do not send your personal information to either of them.
Changes
If this policy changes we will update the date at the top. If a change materially affects what we
collect or how we use it, we will say so plainly on the site.
